i think i'm getting sick

i think i'm getting sick. i'm not sure what i have. at first i thought it might be online risk withdrawal but then i played last night (i'm totally back into it by the way) and it didn't make me feel any better. plus our receptionist was sick yesterday and i know for a fact that she doesn't play online risk. so i figure it's a cold. whatever. no big deal. anyway, here's a picture that i look at whenever i'm feeling blue. or sick. ok i'm going to go lay down.

bones and skin

sometimes you find something so wonderful you can't get enough of it. it changes the world around you. colors become more vivid. everyday problems don't bother you. you are thrilled to wake up in the morning because you have found this one thing. you start thinking "hey, maybe there is a god." slowly over time however, your feelings towards this thing peak. you don't get butterflies thinking about it. it no longer brings you any joy. you are left with an empty heart. the spring leaves your step. you can't get out of bed in the morning. your world becomes a dull, grey, lonely place. well, i've been playing online risk for a week straight but today i just can't get into it. i've got a cold feeling in my gut. things may never be the same.

on the beach

it's the first day of summer! let's go to the beach. i hate the beach.

mural

this is basically a mural that i painted. it was so big that it took 15 minutes to draw and spans 3 post-it notes. also, it shows that i can't draw bear claws any better than i can draw human hands. i do like the eyes on the bear with the gun though. he's looking pretty upset.

amy heckerling

i drew this picture after i found out that amy heckerling directed "european vacation". amy heckerling, for those of you who don't know, directed "fast times at ridgemont high" which might be the best movie ever. i was shocked to find out that she also directed some really crappy movies. these crappy movies include "look who's talking" (which she also wrote), "look who's talking too" (which she also wrote too), and "a night at the roxbury". after learning these facts i rewatched "fast times" this past sunday on tbs and i realized that it's a very poorly made movie. it just happens to be really funny. actually it's not even that funny. i don't know why i like it. maybe i don't.

TEAMWORK!

mike just helped me make this blog way better. we did it by using teamwork. he did the "your pointless life" title and i did the hacking (yeah i'm pretty much a full-on hacker now. whatever. no big deal.) to repay him for all his hard work i'm going to let him be a guest art critic on my blog.

a monster and a stick: part 2

here's "a monster and a stick" with out any color. i always draw the outlines of a picture before i color it in. doing it the other way around makes no sense.

a monster and a stick

this one is called a "a monster and a stick". i drew it for two reasons:
1) monsters are easy to draw. you don't have to draw anything correctly (like hands or feet) because nobody really knows what a monster looks like. if somebody says to me "that monster's hand is all wrong" then i respond by saying "oh yeah? how would you know? i think that monster's hand is fucking dead-on. stop judging me. in fact, stop looking at my blog, you're banned for life. you can still buy a t-shirt or a mug though."
2) sticks are easy to draw. it's just a few lines. who couldn't draw a stick?
